The second session of the SAT English course will start on February 4 2006. There will be twelve classes, and each class will last one and half-hours. That will be on the same time of each Saturday: 1:10 pm - 2:40 pm. The fee for each student is $160.00. Our Mission
The Star Chinese Language School is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Mandarin Chinese as a second Language to children.
Our activity-based curriculum enables students to acquire practical communication skills, develop competence and confidence, and experience the joy of learning another language. Through early exposure to Chinese, the school seeks to provide students with a foundation for future learning and cultivate their long-term interest in the language, culture and traditions of China.
Our school is open to everyone. You don't need to be a native Chinese speaker or have a Chinese background to attend.
We are not affiliated with any political or lobbying organizations, and do not discriminate.
Our approach is different in that we stress practical communication skills over rote memorization. Lessons are organized around themes such as family, food and travel so that kids can quickly begin speaking.
